Thomas Chamberlain

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at the University of Rochester, where I use quantitative methods to study American Political Behavior. Currently my research is focused on providing a more complete empirical account of how issue salience affects vote choice in multidimensional policy spaces. My work primarily involves designing and fielding survey experiments in order to estimate models of vote choice. I'm also interested in developing better methods for estimating preferences from survey data, partisan realignment and American Political Development.

Previously, I received a B.A. in political philosophy from Stanford University and worked in NYC politics.
